The Great Lakes Live Steamers can provide your birthday party, anniversary party, picnic or other special occasion with a private train for two hours at Starr/Jaycee Park. You provide the fun, food and cake.

Contact the Great Lakes Live Steamers and the Royal Oak Recreation department as soon as possible to get your date reserved. 
Make alternate plans in case of rain. Our trains cannot operate in the rain and especially during lightening storms.
Special Train Run Donations
During a regular run day: $50.00 donation for two hours
Free during regular run day when standing in line with the public
City of Southgate Recreation Department
To reserve one of the two pavilions at Kiwanis Park, please call the City of Southgate Recreation Department at 734-258-3035 then press 1 or 2 between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday to obtain a permit. Reservations start in March.
