Named after the Central Michigan University Neathercut biology and nature preserve sitting on over 300 acres that surrounds the property. The railway is about 650 feet long and forms an oval about the size of a school running track. It has a minimum radius of 60 feet and a maximum grade of 2%. A loading/unloading track is provided for guests bringing their own locomotives or other rolling stock.
Located near Bridgeport, Michigan, this track is being developed into a point to point track with balloon loops at each end. Currently, a 5 track yard, trainbarn, loading ramp spur track and about 250 feet of mainline has been installed. Hopefully in 2010 more trackwork will get completed. Volunteers are always needed to help.
